That is my problem with them.īecause most people's definition of fun is a skinner box grind, and they dislike people skipping that grind because it makes them feel jipped. The existance of cheaters has resulting in Payday2 being a worse game for me than it would be if cheaters didn't exist. It would be nice to know that if someday I reach a high level of infamy people will look at me with respect instead of secretly wondering if I cheated. It would be nice if we could have leaderboards where you could see how far along in infamy you are compared to other players. It would be nice when a level 100 joins the game that I'd know this guy has experience and I can trust him to back me up, instead of wondering if he's a cheater with 5 hours played. You know what would be nice? When I saw a II-72 in a game last night if I could say "Wow, that guy is dedicated!" instead of "Hmm, what's the max EXP per hour you could get, what are the odds he's cheating?" What I care about is knowing everything I have has been earned, and if I had a cheater on my team, then I didn't earn it. Are they cheating? Did that bag of loot come from no where? Am I going to end up with billion of spending after this mission? And it's not that I'm worried about being banned because I know overkill is going to do fuckall. The problem is, people don't do that, and in fact just the premise that they could join my games fucks everything up.
